Hawaii Prince Hotel

View from our room over Waikiki Marina was spectacular. Although there was no lanai, the upper part of the windows opened completely to the outside, making it feel as though we were outdoors. The room was nicely appointed and quiet. The location was perfect for our purposes, away from the hubbub of Waikiki but close enough to get there if we chose to, and close to shopping and restaurants. As a previous residence of the islands, I love the location of the property. I like that they offer free shuttle service into Waikiki. The staff is very friendly and polite. I loved the separate shower and tub combo on the 27th floor rooms. ...read more

Lovely hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Probably more of a 3.5 star rather than a 4 star but still a very nice hotel. We only stayed one night but felt our stay was well worth the $

Older structure. Needs upgrade. Staff friendly but unwillingly to work through potential options in event of a cancellation.

I'm plugging my computer in to charge and notice black spots on the drapes. I know even the priciest hotels can have problems, but was very hard to sleep at night, speaking of hard the bed was as hard as a rock, but supposedly most of the tourists are Japanese and they like firm mattresses. Internet wasn't working properly for most of the day, only to find out the modem connections were loose (Thankfully didn't find any roaches behind the modem!). ...read more

Great hotel with ocean view rooms. Very convenient to Ala Moana shopping center and park, and 15 min walk to central Waikiki (Royal Hawaiian shopping center).
